So far, I really do like this book. I think that Holden acts just any other teenager, with a little bit more hostility and anger towards the world. I really like the whole stream of consciousness style of writing. It's easy to understand, because his mind is just like mine; he goes from one thing to the next kind of randomly and I like it :). I like knowing what's going on in a character's head.
What sucks about it though, is that I know the ending to the book because stupid Zach Murray decided to tell me. So since I know the ending, it kind of takes away from what is going on in the book. But I think I still like it anyways!

Good comments. I'm glad you like the stream of consciousness. Its a very hit or miss style of writing. Not much middle ground with it. Zach should not do things like that, it was not nice of him. GRRRR!!!
